Last Choir Preformance

Zach N. Rem

After 16 years of choir performances at Highland, the very last one was on April 23. Maybe some day Zach will be glad I took pictures??????

Honor Society Induction

I know it is weird to blog about everything in our lives, but I feel this sense of urgency as our family is changing so much. Zach's Honor Society Induction was great. Morgan spoke and did such a great job. It is interesting to see my oldest and youngest boy's experiences come full circle.

Highland Choir Trip

Since these are probably the only pictures of the Choir trip to San Francisco that we will ever see, I thought I should post them. The choir will be taking classes and preforming, but more importantly...."hanging out"!

Easter 2009

For the first time in about 15 years we were home for Easter! I missed the warm sun, however it was the best Easter ever. We spent the evening before decorating eggs with the little boys. They made wonderful works of art to decorate our Easter table.

It was great sharing an Easter dinner with a few Tingeys, Strates, and Baucoms. I can't beleive I didn't get a picture of Mary and biggest Sid!

And of course we have to finish an Easter afternoon by teaching Charlie to long board!

Another example of Monkey see Monkies do!

Sid rode his bike to work for the first week of the year.

Zach spent the afternoon working on the bike with no training wheels.

Sid's Day of Skeleton(ing?)

Sid learning his skills at the Olympic park.

Charlie and Jack pulling their boards to the top of the hill.

Look at the skills and form!!!!

Daniel's Summit 2-21-2009

The night before we left for Daniel's Summit the boys came over to watch a movie with us.

Lotsa fun and sun in the snow!

The boys did not want to get off the snowmobiles.

For the second weekend in a row, we went snowmobiling. This time with a great big thank you to Papa Sid for giving us a great Daniel's Summit weekend. We had a blast, but really missed Matt and Paige!
